The law has caught up to Lohan. This is not the very first time though. The actress was summoned by the court in Los Angeles after failing a drug test and has been taken into custody. Lohan lately spent 13 days of a 90-day sentence in the LA county arrest, before being released for a 23-day stint in rehab at Ronald Reagan Memorial Hospital. The rehab did not quite work out for her. She was rearrested after taking a routine drug test for her probation that she failed. Now the court gets to determine her fate.
Lohan still failing her substance tests
Lindsay Lohan was expected to be put back in jail after the latest drug test. Lindsay Lohan doesn’t seem so shy about her life, The Guardian reports. She tweeted on Twitter to her followers that she failed a substance test. Nobody knows where Dina Lohan, Ali Lohan or even Lindsay Lohan’s attorney were. However, Michael Lohan told reporters that he would rather he were going to jail rather than Lindsay. Judge Elden Fox decided Lindsay should be in imprisonment and denied bail. Her next hearing won’t be until October 22.
Difficulties from just before
Lohan got in trouble for the very first time as a previous child star. This happened in 2007. Lohan had to go to therapy, reports the Los Angeles Times, after crashing a vehicle twice when drunk. The court determined she didn’t comply fully by missing alcohol education meetings. She also tested good for cocaine. After doing just under two weeks in jail, she underwent a three-week rehabilitation. She was found to have ingested amphetamines during her mandatory drug screenings on her probation. Her detention until her hearing in October will last longer than the arrest portion of her sentence in July.
Judges are not being fair to her
Along with her father, many have said it isn’t fair to deny bail until a listening to has gone via. This is something that has to be done. Certainly nothing else has worked yet.
